About Wellness Mobile
Wellness Mobile, founded in 2018 by Chaplain Eddie Greyfox Burgess, is based in Lewiston, Maine. Represented in the community by a bright blue vintage 1965 Ford Fairlane, works to spread resources, opportunities, and materials to four primary counties in Maine, including: Franklin, Oxford, Androscoggin, and Sagahoc Counties.

Resource topics, geared toward supporting veterans, unhoused individuals, youth, and families, are spread across a wide breadth of topics. We follow the guidelines of and leverage resources from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). These resources allow us to call upon evidence-based research and resources to support our community.

Our Why
Wellness Mobile was started in honor of our President Eddie Burgess' brother, Spc. Alan Burgess. Alan was a New Hampshire National Guardsman and Military Police Officer killed in the line of duty in Mosul, Iraq, October 15, 2004. When Eddie, a former social worker, was faced with a medical issue that caused him to be unable to work behind a desk all day, he decided to continue the work he is passionate about another way - through community events and spreading valuable resources.
The resources that Eddie shares at events tend to be the same ones that have a plethora of fantastic information, but that get forgotten about in storage boxes at state facilities. By putting these valuable pamphlets and opportunities in front of people at an event, he's able to help those who may not otherwise have access.
